Wir haben mal wieder das Vergnügen Euch eine Videopremiere deutschlandexklusiv präsentieren zu können.
Das dänische Trio Big Dust veröffentlicht nächsten Freitag, dem 8. Juni, sein neues Album “Pewter & Carbon”. Die Band kombiniert (altmodische) Synthie-Klänge mit staubigem Rock und einer Portion Melancholie zu ihrem ureigenen Soundgebilde. Dabei geht man nicht immer den einfachsten Weg, schafft es aber stets interessant zu bleiben. Mehr zur Platte gibt es in ein paar Tagen.
Vorab gibt es ein Video zum Song “I Know Where You Are”, das an guten (!) alten 80er-Pop erinnert und trotz des Lo-Fi-Charakter recht charmant rüberkommt. Zum Inhalt von Song und Video gibt die Band folgendes zu Protokoll:
“It’s a song about love and mistrust in a relationship that never becomes honest, but in which the two involved knows each others lies and therefore also still knows where the other part is positioned. In all its simplicity, the video is about exploring the sinister and dramatic side of one’s personality. The song is about jealousy and emotions, that one doesn’t want to know of, and the video illustrates that part of your personality, that one cannot escape.”
